An Interview with Josh Ruben
Tyler and Jeff interview Josh Ruben, Director of Scare Me and Werewolves Within as we discuss his new films, A Wounded Fawn and Blood Relatives, both available on Shudder. Josh stars in A Wounded Fawn as serial killer Bruce, and Producer on the Noah Segan-directed, vampire horror/comedy Blood Relatives. Listen as we dive into his current and past films, his creative process, and even his favorite past College Humor sketch!
If you'd like to support the charity mentioned in today's episode, you can donate here: https://transformationskc.org/ . If you send us a screenshot of your donation receipt, we'd be happy to do an episode on the actor/director/genre of your choice as a thank you!
The Cronenberg Episode
In this episode, we break down three films of David Cronenberg with The Brood, Videodrome, and Eastern Promises. We *almost* get to a point of well thought out analysis, but frequently get derailed.
Please consider donating to a local abortion fund or a charity supporting marginalized groups in your community. If you do, send us the receipt and you will get to tell us what we should cover next.
The Time Travel Episode
On what was supposed to be our episode for May, we are talking about time travel and its utilization within movies and pop culture. We dive deeper into Edge of Tomorrow, Timecrimes, and Coherence (which is totally a time travel movie, I don't want to hear it).
Please consider donating to a local trans organization, as there is more and more widespread transphobia in every part of our country. Send us the receipt at @WTHITFpod, and you get some input on what topic, subgenre, director, etc. we cover in a future episode.
The Jackie Chan Episode
On this episode, we talk about Jackie Chan, his influence on the action movie landscape, and the journey his work has taken across the decades of his career. The movies we picked for the episode are The Foreigner, Rush Hour, and Police Story.
A quick note: This episode was recorded prior to the release of the SCOTUS opinion on Roe v Wade, so that is not reflected in the beginning of the episode when we discuss charitable giving.
The Raimi Episode
Some housekeeping first: There are some audio issues in this episode, so bear with us. The issues begin at 25:38, and occur intermittently through 52:54. I would recommend staying aware of your volume during that stretch.
On this month's episode, we talk about the work of Sam Raimi! The episode includes his history, filmography, and hallmarks of his work, as well as a deeper dive into Evil Dead 2, Darkman, and Spider-Man 2.
The Heist Episode
We are back with a new format and focus, but everything else is, well, it's pretty much the same. This month, we talk about the heist genre, what makes a heist movie, and three different movies that we bring to the table as examples of the sub-genre. The movie selections for this episode are Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro, The Killing, and Fast Five.

2021 In Review
Hi all, we're back! We get together to break down what we thought of the films of 2021 across a variety of categories. Going forward, we are moving to a monthly release schedule with a new episode on the third Thursday of every month. In these episodes, we'll cover different subjects such as certain sub-genres, the works of specific directors, movies that address certain topics or concepts, and anything else we think fits.
If you have an idea for an episode, such as a certain sub-genre, director, topic, etc., donate $10 or more to one of the following organizations and send us a screenshot of the receipt at @WTHITFpod on Twitter!

S4 E2 - 31 Days of Horror Bingo Selection Special 2021
Season 4 is starting off with double the episodes, as we are bringing you another hour (and more!) of movie talk. This time, we are each selecting 31 different horror movies (or movies that we were able to shoehorn into categories) to watch during the month of October with a bingo card format. It's not *really* bingo, but bear with us okay?
If you want to play along, you can find the 2021 bingo card with every category that we will be using on Twitter (@WTHITFPod). The card will be posted there, or you can mention the show on Twitter and we'll send it your way! You can also find the lists that we have drafted in this episode on Letterboxd using the links below.

S2 Ep. 16 - The Snyder Cut
This week, we tackle the pop culture juggernaut that is The Snyder Cut! Now, the Snyder Cut of WHICH movie is an entirely different discussion. This episode contains deep discussion about bird movies and one of the most heated arguments we've ever had on the podcast. Be warned, it was hot when we recorded and we had to edit around AC noise, so the audio may be a little muddled this week and have a few significant blowouts.

Riley's back, and he's welcomed with the warm embrace of a summer box office flop. We review the Will Smith sci-fi/steampunk/western Wild Wild West and have an all-around bad time. We also do an incredibly dumb bit, play a new game, and veer hard into X-Men talk.
