Bamboo

Ahh, the good ol' breakup song. As always, I tried to keep a central symbol/image at the heart of the song to help make the storytelling a little more compelling. This is an early version of the song, so it's a little rough around the edges still, but I hope that you like it!! As always, let's get writing!

Two Left Shoes (Ver 1 Volume Increase)

Two Left Shoes (Ver 1 Volume Increase)

Just a quick tweak on the first version to address some critiques about low vocal volume (though I can't promise it'll make the song any better because of my "shaky" at best vocals).

Two Left Shoes (Ver 1)

Two Left Shoes (Ver 1)

Long time no hear WhyItMeter's community. After a long period of writer's block (and, frankly, caring a little too much about perfecting lyrics and songs I have been working on) I present to you Two Left Shoes - my latest poetic/song creation. Though it is in its early stages, I wanted to share something with the community to demonstrate that a song, like a poem, like anything in life really, is a work in progress and even the final product is a little rough around the edges. But it's that imperfection that makes it worth listening to after all. Stay tuned for future versions and, as always, let's get writing!!
