Slowbro discusses what he would like to see for Da Capo in it’s new PR and Chronicle sets, Igor gets hype about MOAR MIKU in advance of Project Sekai Colourful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku’s set, Igor and HighXavier wildly speculate about how Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S’ upcoming set could function (hint, lots of change!), we give our positive opinions about Tokyo Revengers and it’s simultaneous release into English and Japanese Weiss. We also ponder what Gochiusa needs to be a go to play, and would there be enough space in a Re:Edit set to get it across the line. Finally, we argue about Weiss related fashion.

This week, Tim interviews two prolific players and thinkers of Weiss Schwarz: Phillip McKay and Ken Takahata.

Ken  has consistently placed top 8 in large Weiss Schwarz tournaments over  the past five years, including the North American Online Springfest in  2021. Phillip won two of the first international Weiss Schwarz events  and wrote Make Marika Great, one of the most read blogs about WS  strategy.

In a wide ranging interview, Ken and Phillip talk about  their experiences playing early Weiss. They talk about the exact moment  they think Weiss changed from what it was into it's modern form. We  also touched on card design, damage charts, deck building and so much  more!

This week, the Calgary Weiss Schwarz Panel is back to talk about how they approach deck building. HighXavier, Kira, and Lyxus discuss their personal approaches to deckbuilding, and we use HighXavier's approach to building a "Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense" deck centered around Maple as a central example. We also discuss how when we establish deck objectives, the difference between strategy and tactics, and much more!

In this week's episode, we reassemble the Calgary Weiss Schwarz Panel featuring HighXavier, Keeluah, and Platplat. We ask the panel, what do they think when they think about maintaining the board in a game of Weiss Schwarz. They delve into the ramifications in terms of how the meta has changed, how it affects resources and damage as well as looking forward to the metagame of the (near) future. They also discuss how current top tier competitive decks are set up to either maintain the field or deny the opponent said field

On this week's episode, we the first of hopefully many panel discussions on Weiss Schwarz Strategy. Platplat, 220, and HighXavier join the show to discuss whether players, casual and competitive Weiss Schwarz players alike, clock too much and use brainstorm effects too frequently early in the game. They discuss the issue, whether they think its an issue, and how they think players can improve their game. 

In our first episode, we catch up with local Weiss Player Keeluah. We talk about his path to winning AnimEvo 2020's Weiss braket, likely the biggest English speaking tournament of the year. Along the way, we cover the current state of the Weiss Schwarz meta-game, some finer points about Saekano and much, much more.
