Strength in the Surrender: Asking for Help
This week's Well Within 10 interview features Courtney Carroll, a licensed professional counselor at Poppy's Therapeutic Corner. Courtney shares her take on the strength in the surrender – improving our ability to ask for help.
How do we build camaraderie when we don't feel comfortable asking for help? When you are always the strongest person in your family, friend group or at work, what steps can you take to be more vulnerable and ask for the help you need, when you need it?
Courtney covers three things you can do NOW to lessen the pressures of everyday life and ask for help when you need it.

Anchor Wellness: Aging, Sexual Wellness + Motherhood
Today we are bringing awareness to your pelvic floor health and how physical therapy helps alleviate pain and discomfort for so many people, especially women.
Stevi Carr, founder of WISe Wellness Guild, sits down with Dr. Sara Koehl from Anchor Wellness, and discusses what we should be looking out for as we age with regards to our pelvic floor health. Dr. Koehl explains that the number one thing that people don't know about their pelvic floor is that it is made up of the same muscular skeletal tissue as our bicep or quads. As we age we loose strength in these muscles, which may show up as leaky urine, painful sex, or pelvic organ prolapse where you'll feel heaviness, dragging, or bulging.
There is help for these conditions. You do not need to live in pain or discomfort. Pelvic floor physical therapy is designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and treat conditions caused by the thinning and weakening of these muscles.
Listen in on the full discussion as Dr. Koehl dives into treatment for postpartum women and for all women as we age.
