Finding your Style | Petra Leary
Petra Leary, who is an award winning New Zealand born aerial photographer and Women Who Drone Brand Ambassador. As a world traveller, she hunts out unusual landscapes, captures them from unforeseen angles such as her signature bird’s eye angle from above, and manipulates and accentuates colours in post-production to create her final work.

Kicking starting your Drone Career | Ellie McCutcheon
Ellie McCutcheon is a drone cinematographer specializing in storytelling techniques. Based out of Northern California, Ellie teaches at The UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism and is a Brand Ambassador for Women Who Drone. She has shot footage for Netflix, The Washington Post, and NPR, among other notable clients.
In addition to film, Ellie flies drones for infrastructure inspection on electrical transmission lines. Her favorite projects take her deep into wild places, whether that's driving trucks deep into the forest for utilities work or filming desert moonscapes with a man in a spacesuit.
Ellie's newest frontier is drone mapping and utilizing 3D modelling to aid landowners in planning and designing for land projects on their properties.

Drone Mapping & GIS | Bethany Hall
Bethany Hall has been flying UAVs for over five years as a licensed Part 107 Remote Pilot and is a Geographical Information Systems professional (GISP) with 20+ years of GIS experience in the electric and water utility industries at Consolidated Utility District of Rutherford County. Currently, she is on special assignment as a participant with Oak Ridge Institute of Science and Education (ORISE) assigned to the Department of Defense's (DoD) Department of POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. She is serving as the Field Data Collection Coordinator assisting field recovery teams with GPS equipment and mapping services to help recover missing U.S. servicemen around the World. Once her assignment is complete with ORISE and DPAA, she'll return to Consolidated Utility District in Murfreesboro, TN to resume her previous duties as GIS Coordinator.
In addition to flying UAVs and mapping battlefields with GIS, Bethany volunteers with the American Association of Geographer’s GeoMentor program introducing kids to geography and UAVs.
