Yer Talkin Over Me!Oct 20, 2020
2:22 - Culture, Politics, & Power w/ Matthew Erickson
Matthew Erickson joins me to talk 2020 politics, how culture influences the state, and why Trump will win re-election.
Matt is the co-host of Wealth, Power, and Influence with Jason Stapleton. He has been vocal on social media and YouTube about what he feels is an evil and corrupt system that will stop at nothing to keep Donald Trump from the White House. We talk about how politics runs downstream of culture, why you can never win at politics until you understand how to wield power, and what anarchists and libertarians need to do (and stop doing) if they want to ever see their ideal world.
Check out Matt on Youtube here: Kingpilled
Also, go back and listen to my conversation with Jason Stapleton on episode 2:17
2:21 - The Bible: Part 1 - Establishing a Nation
Chris Maness returns to the show to pick up where we left off on Episode 2:09.
We begin to explore the Bible, the first of the historical religious texts this show aims to dissect.
We talk about Moses and his history, and what motivated him to begin to save and establish a new nation of people.
This conversation discusses some elements of Moses' life, but is chiefly concerned with the context of Genesis Chapter 1 - 5.

Straight Up 1.01: Defund the Government
The police are not the problem. They're simply the result of a much larger problem; a population addicted to government, and a government that enacts random legislation that must be enforced by all means by an army called the police. Victimless crimes are created that cause innocent and peaceful persons to have encounters with law enforcement that could be so easily prevented in the first place. You don't have to defund the police. Remove the legislation that creates crimes with no victims, effectively shrinking the police force as a result. Then defund the state. The state exists to protect life, liberty, and property, and nothing more. That is not how they operate today. Take away their source of revenue, and render them irrelevant.
Today on Straight Up, I get into all of this, and explain how Voluntaryism and Agorism can lead to a more peaceful society. One that has a foundation in actual individual liberty and economic freedom. And I swear a lot. So enjoy :)
