With the creation of the United States Space Force by the previous US administration, there has been a renewed focus on the role of space in terms of international security. Whilst previous policy has aimed to look at the weaponization of space, we have seen a move towards anti-satellite weaponry. On the other hand, US-China relations have grown worse over the last few years, leading to experts questioning how big power competition is playing out in this domain.

With conflict in Israel-Palestine continuing, we need to further consider new solutions to bring peace to the region. Tensions have been flaring over the last few months with postponements in elections in Palestine and Israel in which Prime Minister Netenyahu has not been able to form a coalition government. Yet despite this, the future of a Palestinian state has been complicated, new solutions and political settlements are needed if peace is to be achieved.
