Henry George Gereis was born in Tarzana California, and is the son of Christian Egyptian immigrants. Growing up in the 1990’s, Henry realized his passion for basketball and writing early in life, and had the honor of watching Kobe Bryant’s entire career as an avid Lakers fan. Realizing he was not bound for the NBA, Henry instead channeled Kobe’s work ethic by refining his writing; taking an interest in English and History early in his academic career. Henry was on the principals honor roll throughout elementary, middle, and high school, and was accepted to the University of California Riverside in 2008. How to make sure your website isn't terrible. Annoying websites are a peeve of mine (random popups, long load times, missing menu items, too many fonts...) so I'm more than happy to talk about ways to improve anyone's website. I also talk about why it's important for businesses to have a website, even if they aren't doing e-commerce (like a traditional service based business, for example). Within that I can touch on ways to leverage a website to grow a business in the digital economy. I can talk high level theory (SEO, design, etc.) or I can dive into specific tools and platforms (WordPress, Elementor, Siteground, Zapier, SemRush...). And anything related to entrepreneurship is always interesting to discuss.
