Episode 2: The Construction Industry Network’s Apprenticeship Program

In this episode, Anne Cheng talks to Emily Loi! Emily Loi is a first year civil engineering undergraduate, and connected to YPO through her father, Michael Lois. She wanted to apprentice at a construction site and not as an intern, where she would be desk bound. She landed up being connected to me through the YNG+ (YPO Next Generation Plus) program and quickly sent in her profile to be set up as an apprentice. Through the program, we placed her in Poland, where she now works on the construction of a 202 meter skyscraper, an opportunity unparalleled to most first year university students.
