From these beginnings Jo’s appreciation of a biopsychosocial approach grew. From public to private sector work, from the UK to Ireland where she later settled, Jo eventually set up her own Physiotherapy clinic in 2009. Jo’s specialist areas of interest include pain (especially back pain and pelvic girdle pain), pre- and postnatal Physiotherapy and women’s pelvic health. In 2019 Jo began her work as an educator and teaching assistant with Antony Lo and is increasingly involved in the mentorship of other Physiotherapists and fitness professionals. She is enthusiastic about sport, exercise and fitness. She is a qualified Pilates instructor, but also enjoys running, CrossFit, yoga and climbing and messing around with her three kids.
