Season 1: Episode 8: Christianity Pet Peeves - Poor Stewardship
Stewardship is more than just money. Though money is a good place to start, it is even a pet peeve just to associate stewardship with money! Stewardship is a lifestyle that all Christians should be living every day. Be good stewards with your time and money, rejoice in the good, and share the joy of the Lord with the world!

Season 1: Episode 7: Christianity Pet Peeves - Hypocrisy a double edged sin.
Hypocrisy is something that we often think is bygone sin. It isn't something we hear a whole lot about anymore. However, Jesus had really strong words to say about them in the Bible. Join me as we look at Matthew 23, and how hypocrisy should be every Christains pet peeve because of how harmful it is to the mission and Body of Christ.  For more Zach Haas, be sure to check out

Season 1: Episode 6: Christianity Pet Peeves - Judging does not save.
In this episode, we look at the idea that Christians are sometimes more judgemental than they are loving. This is a problem since judging someone will likely never save them, but loving them might. I look at how Christians not only judge other Christians, but also non-Christians. There is room for some judgement, but only when it is used out of love.

Special Episode: How I think Jesus might react to George Floyd and Police Brutality
I admit that I am no expert when it comes to social justice, racism, and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. However, I do recognize that something is wrong and something needs to be done about. While #AllLivesMatter, this isn't what we need to be focusing on right now. While #BlueLivesMatter, police brutality needs to be addressed and something needs to happen.  It's been an interesting couple of weeks here in 2020. As the Coronavirus finally starts to take a back seat, George Floyd is murdered by an overreaching police officer.  This has sparked massive debates, protests, and even violent riots. I think Jesus would have a lot to say if he were in the world today. His messages of truth, love, grace, and equality are recorded in the Bible. His words, are just as relevant to the world today as they were back then.

Season 1: Episode 5: Christianity Pet Peeves - Catchy Worship Songs Aren't Always Good
It’s probably happened to most of us. We hear a new song on the radio or in church and it immediately captures us. It’s catchy, got a good rhythm, and you can easily sing or hum along. The next thing you know it’s stuck in your head and you can’t get it out. You can call it an earworm, call it a blessing, or call it a prayer. You might think that such a captive tune is a good worship song. But is it?

Season 1: Episode 4: Christianity Pet Peeves - Trump Isn't Jesus
In this episode, we take a look at how there are some Christians who are looking to Trump like they should look to Jesus. He is not a model Christian. You shouldn't vote for him just because he claims to be a Christian.

Season 1 Episode 3: Christianity Pet Peeves - Genie God
Sometimes we forget that God is more than a genie. He doesn't exist solely to answer our wishes that are disguised as prayers. He is a spiritual relationship that deserves our proactive pursuit, not our reactive submission.

Season 1 Episode 2: Christianity Pet Peeves: Church When Convenient
This episode focuses on a pet peeve that I have with Christians not making God a top priority. It seems that he loses to just about everything else going on in our lives. This is not how we were created to be and many Christians trying to be God-fearing and good fall prey to it. Hopefully, this provides you with some insight and guidance on how to avoid letting God fall in the list of our priorities.

Season 1 Episode 1: Christianity Pet Peeves: Covid-19 doesn't mean God isn't good.
"Why would a good God let bad things happen to good people?" Newsflash: There are no "good" people. "The Coronavirus is God's punishment for allowing the LGBTQ community to exist!" Newsflash: No, no it isn't.

Episode 0: An introduction to the Critiques and Caffeine Podcast
This isn't really the first episode. This is an introduction to my podcast. It's one part informative, and one part test drive to see if the technology was even going to work out. So far so good. Thank you for joining me in this adventure!
