In this episode we will discuss how the brain responds to images of "fattening" vs. "non-fattening" foods when we are hungry or full. The research paper is Regional brain response to visual food cues is a marker of satiety that predicts food choice

What you need to know: if you are hungry and you are exposed to "fattening" food or "fattening" food cues, you will have a much stronger drive to eat than if you are exposed to "non-fattening" foods. So, limit your exposure to "fattening" foods and their cues and, when you get hungry for those foods, eat "non-fattening" foods so that the temptation to eat the "fattening" food is reduced.
