Cultivating a Sound Mind pt3
Last week I shared my testimony about how God supernaturally delivered me from suicidal thoughts and depression. For the past two episodes, we've been discussing the promise of a sound mind and how to cultivate it using biblical principles. Today our soul focus is on how to apply daily activities that will help us to maintain a healthy, and strong body, soul & mind. Keep Listening!
Cultivating a Sound Mind pt2
One of my favorite passages of scripture in the New Testament takes place right after one of the most infamous miracles has been witnessed. If you guessed the feeding of the multitude, you're right. Shortly after that, another popular tale of the miraculous takes place, Peter walks on water. The Bible is full of these wonderous demonstrations of God's infinite and Divine power and authority, but I'm certain there's one that isn't as familiar, my story. Last week I shared 7 points of how we as Christians can cultivate a sound mind. This week's soul focus will continue that teaching with The Miraculous Healing of Ajhae Small. Keep listening!
Cultivating a Sound Mind
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
This biblical scripture has become a refrain for every child of God, see if you can recite it with me. But what does that mean and more importantly, how do we live that scripture on a day-to-day basis? In 2002 Joyce Meyer wrote a book titled, " The Battlefield of the Mind". I haven't read it but I most certainly have experience fighting in that war zone. However, things such as fear, doubt, worry, envy, confusion, and the like arent' Christ-like attributes. In fact, they go against our nature as children of God. Today's soul focus is on how to cultivate a sound mind. Keep listening!
Purpose, a Journey Not a Destination Part 3
Today will conclude our discussion on purpose. Over the past few weeks, we've learned that God has placed Divine purpose in all of us and desires for us to fulfill that destiny within our lifetime. During discussions 1 & two we attempted to unravel the DNA of purpose by detailing how to identify and connect with our individual purposes. Today we'll learn 5 principles that will help us actualize this heavenly mandate in our everyday lives.
Purpose, a Journey Not a Destination Part 2
Purpose is defined as the reason for which something, or in our case someone, is created or done, or for which something exists. Today we're going to attempt to narrow down this board definition and make it a little more personal. Purpose, a Journey Not a Destination Part 1

So What's a "Christian" Life Coach and Why Do I Need One?
Unless you've been living under a rock you've heard the term Life Coach and you've probably heard names like Tony Robbins and Iyanla Vanzant. But you may have wondered, what is a life coach really, and more importantly, who needs one? Today's soul focus is on the benefits of a Christian life coach and determining whether or not making that spiritual investment is a step you should take.
Strategies 4 Breaking Spiritual Cycles
We’ve all been there at some point in our lives. That place that causes us to ask internally how did I end up here again? There are healthy patterns of behavior that can produce fruitful harvests in our lives spiritually financially and emotionally, but there are also patterns of destructive behaviors that leave us feeling abandoned confused disconnected from God, and undervalued. These self-defeating choices that we make can be as small as not eating the right foods or deeper more dangerous habits that can hinder our spiritual growth as well as the growth of others. Today I'm going to share the 7 strategies that have served me on the pathway to finding wholeness in Christ Jesus.
Getting Realistic About Romance
Romance. Some of us are in denial while others of us fully embrace the romantic notions that reside in our hearts. But how realistic are the expectations and conditions we place upon courtship and dating, love and romance? Join Author and Transformational life coach Ajhae Small as she welcomes Relationship Coaches Leslie Tolliver of Divorce Defeated and Nichole Carter of Sustainable Joy Coaching.
The Art of "No" Learning To Set Healthy Boundaries
Many of us as Christians have a negative outlook when it comes to hearing or saying NO. Mainly because attached to the word are feelings of fear and rejection. By denying someone else our knowledge, time, or a helping hand, we feel like bad Christians. And while we are taught to esteem our brothers and sisters in Christ higher than ourselves finding balance are just as important. Ministry burnout is real and if we don't learn the art of what my daughter refers to as a "heavenly" no, we'll find ourselves turning away from the things that once brought us joy, peace, and a sense of purpose.

Session #7
There are a number of emotional filters that color the way we experience various life events. But if we choose to use our spiritual lens, we can substitute the filter these experiences with the love of Christ to help reshape and recolor those unpleasant life events. We enter this world vulnerable and co-dependent with needs we are unable to et ourselves. One of those basic human needs is the love and acceptance of our earthly fathers. Today's Soul Focus on The Father Wound.
