Rest, diet, and meditation are some steps to staying healthy during stress. Stress can suppress our immune system increasing our risk of illness. Resting our mind, body, and spirit is very important to a healthy immune system. Certain foods can support the immune system- blueberries, spinach, broccoli, kefir, almonds, sunflower seeds, oily fish, oranges and kiwi, tumeric, sweet potatoes, ginger, garlic, green tea, red bell pepper, and dark chocolate.
