My hope is as the weather gets a little bit warmer, you start thinking about a workout program, what you want to do a little bit differently! Let me give you some motivation too... 1. Get up and start moving! 2. Let's shoot for 10,000 steps! 3. Figure out the best workout for you! Just starting with walking everyday and getting those steps in will make a huge difference for you in the long run.

The biggest confession isn't that people don't know how to eat or what to eat. It is more about that they don't know how to meal prep. So, the real confession is.. Everybody struggles! Even me!

Sometimes we end up with so many goals that we end up not doing any of them.
Keep the main thing, the main thing.
Find 1 thing to focus on to get start that once you start you get the motivation to continue!

Let's talk about what your proud of. We get so focus on all of the things we need to do or need to go that we forget to celebrate the wins that you had over the last year. You need to Celebrate your Wins! Take sometime this week to think about what those wins were for you. What were things that were amazing, the little things that added up to the big things and what made you happy!

This ONE word can change your mindset … and how changing ONE WORD in your self-talk can change your entire outlook!
(Late) Monday Mojo: Holiday Survival Checklist
1. Make Plans- make plans for the day or the week!
2. Make Time for Movement-some soft of movement will take the stress away.
3. Eat until you are satisfied not stuffed.
4. Enjoy your holiday favorites that are worth it- Take what you want but don't over do it.
5. Make Time for Sleep- Boost that immune system back up!
6. Go outside for fresh air- Sun on your skin is beneficial.
7. Fall back Plan- when you focus on the things that really do make a difference you let go of those things that don't.
Monday Mojo: Let’s talk healthy holiday tips!
Here are a few tips to help you with holiday eating!
1. Don't skip meals
2. Have a some caffeine; helps reduce the appetite
3. Do not grab everything.. get what you absolutely love
4. Exercise!!
5. If you like to munch on what you're baking chew mint gum, nothing taste good after chewing mint gum!
6. Wear snugger clothes
7. Water, water, water
8. Remember the reason for the season!

Just say to yourself, "it is just 10 minutes".
The reality is most of the time, about 10 minutes in, the muscles are warming up, and you've got enough energy from it that you are willing to workout.
So when your self-talk starts telling you, "I am just too tired," or "I don't have time," remember... just do 10 minutes, and believe me, once you get started, you're going to notice you're able to do more, go farther, and finish the workout that you started!

First things first, what is a growth mindset? According to experts, this is the belief that humans can develop and improve even the most basic of skills through hard work and commitment.
It’s the idea that intelligence and talent can be developed with the right frame of mind. This is exactly the OPPOSITE of the old idea that people are born with a certain level of intelligence or a particular set of talents, and that’s the best they’ll ever be.
For the record, this is called a fixed mindset. You can find lots of research on the differences between the two!

It boils down to this: Consistently applying the BASICS will bring you the most results, the fastest.
For fitness, health & wellness, those basics include:
● Feeding your body healthy whole foods in the right amounts
● Drinking enough water to keep you hydrated,
● Moving your body regularly to keep it fit and strong,
● Sleeping for 7 to 8 hours a night,
● Managing your stress,
● Keeping your mind positive and focused by learning new things, and
● Getting regular downtime!
It really is THAT SIMPLE.
