Momming with Purpose: Birth & Beyond
Hi there, I'm Ashley Grant, the host of Fuel Yourself Podcast. The purpose of this podcast is to have a platform to share with all of you about what I've learned in my studies and in my practice as a dietitian, as well as in my self-discovery journey as a human being. My hope is that you take what you learn to grow and to share with others who are on a similar journey. Spread the growth!
This episode is particularly special to me because in this chapter of life, one of my biggest dreams is coming true: I'm becoming a mama!
I am so glad my friend Jess and I were able to have this conversation. She is an amazing resource for you mamas out there (and for anyone working on self improvement).
Jess is a 24 year old stay-at-home mama of 3 toddlers. She has an almost 3 year old daughter and identical twin boys who are 16 months old. Jess absolutely loves being able to prioritize building her relationship with her babies, as it has always been her dream to become a mom. She is passionate about personal development, mental health, and all things wellness. Jess believes that as moms we must heal and become the best version of ourselves so we may lead our children to thrive. She went to school for nursing, but did not pursue that degree. She worked in an ER as a CNA up until she had her daughter. When her daughter turned 8 months old, she began exploring entrepreneurship, which has allowed her to stay at home and have control over her life & income.
