In today’s episode, we discuss:

Why Self-Care Is Essential for Entrepreneurs with Melissa Clark :: Episode 29
Hello Friends!
When we think of the most successful women entrepreneurs, we often use words like ambition, innovation, and creativity. While all these are true, the less publicized side is quite simple: they all make time for self-care. Whether it is a mani-pedi, working out, or just some time alone to relax, they all make self-care a top priority.
In today’s episode, Alaina and I are joined by the fabulous Melissa Clark to discuss why self-care is important, especially for mom-entrepreneurs.
In today’s episode, we also discuss:
- Melissa shares 5 practical steps for incorporating self-care into your day
- God made all of us well, and each of us is worth taking care of ourselves.

Now is a Perfect Time :: Episode 25
Welcome Friends!
It's finally 2021, can you believe it? We know that you’re as happy as we are to turn the page on 2020! We are so excited about this episode, the first one of Season 2 of the Business & Learning show!
In today's episode, Tammy and Alaina discuss the idea of everything being perfect before you launch something. It doesn't matter; there will never be the "perfect" time. Start it now, get things good enough, and see what happens. Remember, it is ok to fail. It' is how we learn. Also, you don’t want to miss Tammy’s attempt at her Dave Hollis impression!
We also discuss some other important topics :
1. We learn best by failing. It is important to get out there and fail. Launch that project, see what your audience wants, FAIL, and make it better the next time around.
2. Growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone. Our comfort zones are just that, comfortable. To grow and reach your full potential, you need to step outside where it is difficult and challenging.
3. Instagram and social media is not reality. It is the highlight reel. We only put out the best content on social media. It is full of lies, and anyone that tells you otherwise is also lying to you and themselves.
Favorite quotes:

The Power of No :: Episode 23
Welcome Friends!
We are so excited about this episode, the first one of Season 2 of the Business & Learning show!
In today’s episode, Tammy and Alaina are talking all about the power of no boundaries and how your “WHY” needs to be specific and strong to get you through those difficult seasons on your entrepreneurial journey!
We recorded this special episode during our annual meeting retreat this past October! We had so much fun that weekend with planning our 2021 goals, reflecting on the last year, and tons of laughs. Over those few days, we discovered the implementation of boundaries and saying no to projects that didn’t serve our business and our clients well. The power of no is essential to creating and maintaining boundaries, staying on task, and growing a thriving and sustainable business.
In this episode, we discuss:
1. No is a complete sentence.
2. Setting boundaries is key to staying on track.
3. Set goals that are mean something specific for you and not someone else
Favorite quotes:
“Boundaries are your friend.”
“It’s either a HELL YES, or it is a no! “

Don't Be Scared To Go BIG :: Episode 22
Both Tammy and Alaina are busy, working moms and one thing they always hear is "balance". Ha! You know, sometimes you just can't be all or do all. And this is okay. You can still go big and not be balanced... it's about finding what works for you and your family one day at a time.
Today's guest knows all about this as she built a career one building block at a time, but the important thing that she learned that changed the success was when she learned how to take chances and step outside her comfort zone. Growth doesn't happen from a place of comfort.
In this episode, we also discuss:
- Building a career one building block at a time
