Season 2 Episode 4: Canucks Talk on the Eve of the Expansion Draft
Matthew and Dan get together for another episode after a long hiatus. Dan and I get a new member of Canucks Twitter on the show in the form of Zayne (@theorcaoverseas). We start with a discussion on the hot topic of the week, which was Oliver Ekman-Larsson and the trade rumours surrounding him. We also delve into his team for the 2020-21 season and the moves he would make.

Sam from The Broadscast, Area 51 Hockey, and Rob Fai Nation Radio drops by to discuss the Canucks and sit in the GM's chair for our latest Be a GM segment. We discuss everything from who they should have in goal, the bottom-six, and the defence core for the 2020-21 season. It was an amazing episode with one of the up and coming stars in Canucks Nation and the sports world. Don't miss this one!
Episode 27: "Matt the GM, Canucks Trade Talk, Podkolzin, Stanley Cup Final & More!"
First, Dan and I talk about the many speculative trades and free agent signings out there for the Canucks including Ekblad, Dumba, and Pietrangelo, then I become the GM for the "Be the GM" segment as I lay out my team for the 2020-21 season. Then we get into the discussion about the lack of ice time for Vasili Podkolzin in the KHL, and finally, we discuss the Stanley Cup Final and the plans for the upcoming 2020-21 season introduced by Gary Bettman this past week.

We discuss the Canucks offseason and Dan becomes the GM in the debut of the "Be a GM" segment. He goes through his moves and the lineup he would go with for the 2020-21 season.

Dan and I get together for another episode after a short hiatus. We discuss the Canucks series against the Golden Knights, the postseason as a whole, Thatcher Demko's brilliance, Elias Pettersson, and the many decisions Jim Benning has to make in the offseason including Jacob Markstrom, Chris Tanev, Troy Stecher, and Tyler Toffoli. Dan also presents his plan for the Canucks going forward.
Episode 24: Canucks and Golden Knights Game 3 Recap Ft Elias Laradi (@EliasLaradi)
Dan and I get together for another post-game recap episode. This time we were joined by Golden Knights writer Elias Laradi from Puck Prose, Puck Authority, and Overtime Heroics. We discussed the series so far, what the Golden Knights are doing to be successful, Alex Tuch and Ryan Reaves' impact, the goaltending of Robin Lehner, and the supposed controversy surrounding M-A Fleury.
Then Dan and I do our usual post-game breakdown. We talked Travis Green, Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, the power play, the need for the bottom six to step up, and much more!

Episode 22: "Canucks Fan Wagon Is Packed!" Ft Clay Imo (@CanuckClay)
Clay Imo drops by the podcast for the third time to preview a new Canucks playoff series! We are two for two! Flying solo in this one, I discuss with Clay the growth of the Canucks during the St Louis Blues first-round series, Quinn Hughes, Jake Virtanen, Tyler Motte, and the coaching of Travis Green. We also rant a little about the Blues players and coaches not giving the Canucks much respect for how they ultimately beat them in the end.
Then we preview the second-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights and talk about the Canucks' chances of moving on to the third round.

Vancouver Canucks' public address announcer Al Murdoch drops by for a visit with Matthew, Dan, and Aidan to discuss his background, how he got to the Canucks PA Announcer chair, his most memorable moments (Canucks and otherwise) and his thoughts on the Canucks right now. He also predicts and announces the first Canucks goal for Game 2 against the St. Louis Blues!

Episode 15: "Bo Captain My Captain" aka Canucks & Blues Game 1 Post Game Recap
Dan and I discuss the Canucks Game 1 victory over the St Louis Blues and our overall thoughts on the other first-round matchups so far. We discuss among other things Jake Virtanen's disappearing act in the game, Bo Horvat's monster performance, Troy Stecher's goal for his father and the character, and tight-knit nature the team is displaying right now. We also discuss how each team has to stay out of the box, and how the Canucks' defence needs to improve for Game 2.
Episode 14: 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs Preview, Draft Lottery Talk, and Some Canucks Too!
In this supersized 14th episode, Dan and I sit down and preview all eight playoff series and predict where each series will end up. We also give our key players and who will ultimately come out of the West and East. Then we each pick a team to win it all.
Then to top it off, we talk about the NHL Draft lottery and the Canucks' overall good luck despite not ever winning it. Then we delve into the Canucks prospect pool and the exciting players that will be coming up in the next few seasons. In addition, Dan makes a very bold prediction for the team's future in the playoffs.

We are finally talking about the Stanley Cup playoffs in Vancouver for the first time in four seasons! In this episode, the trio of Matthew, Dan, and Aidan break down the series win against the Minnesota Wild, their picks for MVP, Unsung Hero, and Most Improved Player and who they would like to see the Canucks face in the first round.

We have a special post-game edition of the podcast featuring Aidan Battley from the Hockey Writers' Canucks and prospects writing team!
We had a great conversation breaking down the Vancouver Canucks one and only exhibition game against the Winnipeg Jets. We also discussed some takeaways from the game and what it means going forward in the series against the Minnesota Wild. Among other things, we talked about Jake Virtanen's absence from the lineup, Elias Pettersson's potential for greatness in the playoffs, Jacob Markstrom, and the rust shown by many players on both sides. We even talked a little about the Jets!

In Episode 7 of Canucks & Pucks, I talked with GLCPC founder and Vancouver Canucks Youtuber Clay Imoo (@CanuckClay) about Jake Virtanen, the upcoming matchup against the Minnesota Wild, the final scrimmage and his thoughts on the lineups.
Then I discussed how the Canucks and Wild matchup with Jack Dawkins who covers them over at The Hockey Writers. We also talked about many other hockey-related topics
Finally, I had a great conversation with Bailey Johnson of the website Fresh Ice (freshice.substack.com) and formerly the Michigan Daily News about Will Lockwood and Quinn Hughes.

Episode 6: Canucks with Brendan Batchelor and Thomas Anderson, NHL Draft and Ducks with Eddy Jones
In episode six I am joined by the radio voice of the Vancouver Canucks Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650, The Canuck Way's Thomas Anderson and The Hockey Writers' Eddy Jones.
I discussed Zack MacEwen's chance at a lineup spot, the Canucks' bottom-six options, Jake Virtanen, and the keys to beating the Minnesota Wild with Brendan and Canucks prospects Will Lockwood, Marc Michaelis, and Jack Rathbone amongst other things with Thomas.
Finally, I was joined by Eddy Jones who covers the Anaheim Ducks and NHL Draft to talk about the upcoming draft as well as prospects the Anaheim Ducks could go after this October. We also touched a bit on the Canucks as well.
