The Hope That Gives Rise to Healing
This is not everyone's story, but at times when circumstances align and our hearts are humble and open, the rescue comes.  The Help that we long for arrives at just the right moment, and then we begin the climb out of the mess, or hole, that we'd been in. Meet Chad & Carabeth.. a young couple that began a family together not realizing the life they had hoped for was about to implode because of choices they were making. These are the times we hurt, and hurt bad, but they don't have to be the end of our story.  As Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Jesus in Matthew 19:26, ESV Bible) This interview with my brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, is Part Two (S1E5). It's an absolute change in direction from what you heard in Part One (S1E4)! If you haven't heard Part One, pause this episode and listen to it first. May their story offer hope to you no matter how difficult and painful your circumstances might be. If you invite Jesus to lead your life, the best is always yet to come -> "God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes." (Psalm 18:24, The Message Bible) You can find Chad on Instagram @chadkellyplus4 and Carabeth on Instagram @carabethkelly. Also, check out the incredible goodness that God has brought out of the Kellys' story in Freedom Recovery (faith-based addiction counseling & community) and Ignite Our City (cooperative collaborations for the good of our region)! +++ + Special Thanks to.. designer Jonathan Scheele for incredible work, musician Radical Face for use of the track "I'll Be There Soon" from the album Missing Film, and author J.R.R. Tolkien for the quote from his work, 'The Hobbit: There and Back Again' (1937) in the podcast intro. > ArtistSoulFriend.com / Twitter: @_EdgeoftheWild_ / Instagram: @EdgeoftheWildPodcast / Facebook: EdgeoftheWildPodcast +++ Leave us a message!

A Rhythm of Life Lived 'In The Pocket'
This is the first (I hope) of countless interviews I plan to share with you via Edge of the Wild.  In this one, I’ll invite you in on a conversation with my very good friend, world class drummer and producer, Patrick Maley.  Patrick is quite possibly the most joyful man I’ve ever known, and you might get an insight into why when you hear his story- particularly what he’s lived through. You’ll also hear about his early years growing up in Philly, playing music millions have heard around the world with musicians like Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, and John Legend.. as well as an encounter with God that led to his vibrant faith.  You're going to love this interview! You can find him on Instagram @kirtapyelam or via his personal site. +++ + Special Thanks to.. designer Jonathan Scheele for incredible work, musician Radical Face for use of the track "I'll Be There Soon" from the album Missing Film, and author J.R.R. The Man, The Myth, The Legend.. St. Patrick of Ireland
The Man, They Myth, The Legend.. You've heard his name.. you may have even heard stories about him, but were they accurate in detailing the man they point to?  How well do you really know the man now known as St. Patrick? Join me for a quick overview of Patrick's life and writings to hopefully get to know - as he desired - his heart more fully!  I'll also throw in a few observations of my own from personal studies of his life, as well as personal experience traversing and living in the same landscape as he did for over a decade. What new discoveries might you make? For more information on St. Patrick, online or in-person, check out The Saint Patrick Centre in Downpatrick, Co. Down, N. Ireland. To read Patrick's own words, check out his Confession, and Letter to Coroticus. +++ + Special Thanks to.. designer Jonathan Scheele for incredible work, musician Radical Face for use of the track "I'll Be There Soon" from the album Missing Film, and author J.R.R.
