Men Becoming Kings w/ Author, Coach, Speaker, Johnny King
Today, we have Johnny King on the show, and we talked about:
- Coaching Men in Becoming Kings
- Living a more purposeful life
- Childhood learnings
- Inspiration behind his book “Becoming Kings”
- And MUCH MORE
Before Johnny King became a transformational coach for men to help them reach their highest potential, he first had to discover his own. Amidst the recession of 2010, Johnny was broke: $35,000 in debt, jobless, and picking up the pieces of a failed marriage. He thought he was done… Little did he know it was just the start of his journey. He resolved to never experience hopelessness like that again.
Over the next few years Johnny built multiple successful businesses, and now leads a men’s group, and produces a podcast. He systemized his habits and routines to create a life he could fall in love with. He’s now teaching others those tools so you too can own your day, realize your dreams, and truly become the King or Queen of your kingdom.

Jason Wood on Thriving after Divorce, Raising a Daughter as a Single Dad, and the Most Important Factor in Relationships
Today we are blessed to have Jason Wood on the podcast - AKA @Jfloydwood on Instagram.
This episode covers many topics, including:
- Mental health struggles of men
- How to get out of funk after divorce
- The importance of being an individual when it comes to relationships
- Being a single dad and a good representation for his daughter
- What kind of woman would fit into Jason's life/what he's looking for
- The importance of personal space in relationships
And more!
Listen and tell us what your favorite part of the podcast was!
Jason was born and currently lives in Virginia and is a single dad to a seven-year-old daughter, a decorated United States Army Combat Veteran, and an endurance athlete.
Jason has experienced several successes, but he's also had his share of challenges. Many of these challenges came after leaving the military and after attempting to take his own life and being diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He took on his first endurance race in 2017 as a way to break out of a persistent mental and physical funk. Within a month, Jason was on an obstacle course battling obstacles that represented much of what he felt he was facing in life. From that point, he found that signing up for endurance challenges gave him very specific goals to plan for and the confidence he was building in his physical and mental fitness was translating into every area of his life. Jason says, "I want to be the best I can be in every part of my life. I want to show everyone, specifically Veterans who feel lost, misunderstood, or have their confidence shaken, that there's always a way forward."
