Ep 17 - Campfire Sessions - Sue Harper
I’ve been working on the new podcast :) There’s now the addition of my ‘campfire’ series.
I’m interviewing some inspirational people, if you would like to be part of it let me know ;)
In this first episode, I chat with Sue Harper, The first British woman to lead an expedition to the top of Everest!
We talk about using your intuition, near-death events on the mountain, facing fears and quite a bit more. As always with my podcast, there’s practical stuff at the end for you to try.
Have a great day, there’s even a new intro - I think it’s quite catchy lol.

Ep 14 - Flexible Routines
Are you part of the 5am club?
I have been. Getting up early to make sure I could complete my routine nice and early and really kickstart my day. I also know it doesn't work for some people.
I've been through that too. As I've learned to understand my own needs I developed a more flexible way to think about a consistent routine.
It makes sure I get done what I need to in a way that suits me.
I explain how in this week's podcast :)
Hope you're having a great day x

Ep 12 - My Simple Fitness Journey
When I was 18 I could run a mile in 5.26 minutes... that changed...
I went to 14 stone... for me that's big.
Looking back I didn't realise the shape I had gotten into. I actually felt quite good about myself.
But when I was told I wouldn't run again... maybe I might be able to jog, if I was lucky.
I just decided to try.
I share my 3 simple exercise and diet tips in this episode.
You could really take advantage of this lockdown x
Ep 11 - How not to have a bad day.
Are you having one of 'those' days?

Have a happy day x
Ep 9 - Connected Networks
How interesting could a conversation around mushrooms be?
I'm standing in the woods. Quietly appreciating the quiet stillness. The dappled sunlight sparkling on the forrest floor. A beautiful mix of auburn, reds and browns.
Floating on top. Small spots of white drawing my attention. I bent down to pick one.
I wondered what type of mushroom it might be...
I also knew exactly who to ask.
Later, I had the chance to question my friend.
We discussed the mushroom... but what emerged in the conversation was fascinating.
While mushrooms might be the most familiar part of a fungus, most of their bodies are made up of a mass of thin threads, known as a mycelium.
We now know that these threads act as a kind of underground internet, linking the roots of different plants.
That tree in your garden is probably hooked up to a bush several metres away, thanks to mycelia.
They use this network to help each other.
This got me thinking about the network between people.
An interconnected network of family, friend's and aquantances all there to potentially help you.
In my opinion it's this network that support you and it's very much in your interest to know, choose and nurture your network.
We're all connected to the network in some way.
The question is are you nurturing or ingnoring yours?
I go a bit deeper into this experience and my thoughts in this week's podcast.
Ep 8 - Simple Communication
The brain wants to eat a pineapple volcano...
er... what?
So, when was the last time you played Chinese whispers?
It may have been a while and although it's a very simple game it can still be great fun. Old schools style.
It also illustrates perfectly the importance of specific communication.
Know what you have to say, how you listen and then how you communicate all contribute to the effectiveness.
Sadly, many issues we face are due to poor communication.
At some point in the relationship, project or even the just watching the news.
The messages didn't get through clearly or we misunderstood. That's where the problems begin.
This week's podcasts go deeper into this subject and has little tip you can try too. Link below.

Can you guess the original Chinese whisper?
Ep7 - Finding your people
He is a stranger to me but he still made my day 😊.
I decided to pop into a local shop this morning on my way home from getting a coffee.
I noticed that the person serving was very focused on sometimes he was drawing, I asked what it was.
He explained it was his 'tag'. Graffiti.
What he was creating was very beautiful, very talented. He loved it.
It turns out that he doesn't do much of it anymore but he still loves it. That alongside creating beats 😊.
He explained, that most of the people he now knows only do this stuff for the money. He only likes to do it for pleasure and he'd become quite disillusioned by it all.
I asked if he could think of anyone that feels the way about it that he does?
He immediately answered with a name. Pulled out his phone and messaged the person to meet up and collaborate to create some new art and music. 😊.
This is what made my day.
Connecting with your kinda people is so important if you want to boost what you do and how you feel.
I go a bit deeper into this on my podcast 👍
I've put the link in the comments.
Happy Monday!
Ep 6 - Getting sober about your time
I would say that the main reason that most of my clients give for not making the changes they want to see in life is time.
We all say we want more. We all say there is not enough but the sad truth is there is plenty of time if you get serious about where you re using the time you have.

Ep 5 - You become your habits

Ep 3 - How Empathy WILL enhance your success.
In this episode, I talk about the power that empathy can bring to all areas of your life.
If you're in business it can literally be the difference between failure and success.
I share 2 simple exercises, at the end, that could make all the difference for you.
Enjoy.

Ep 2 - How to put yourself first without being selfish
This isn't always the case and it can be a little bit confusing for people. They put themselves first and then they find that by putting themselves first actually other people maybe get hurt.
Understanding how to act this way will have a massive impact on your leadership style and success.
Find out how this, in this episode. :)
Thanks for listening
