Is Stalking Your Opposition A Strategy?

Is Stalking Your Opposition A Strategy?

In this episode of Keeping Tabs with CULNC, Tabbi R, former captain of the Jays talks strategy. During her captaincy, Tabbi navigated successive injuries in her team (which she believes was a curse), prioritised team bonding as a means to success and thoroughly researched her opposition - some would say stalked. We also consider psychological strategy in overcoming the nerves surrounding big games, like Varsity - which for Tabbi has been quite eventful.

Running a Marathon During Lockdown

Running a Marathon During Lockdown

In this episode of Keeping Tabs with CULNC, Claire told me all about the marathon she ran for Emmanuel International during lockdown. We discuss training, diet and perseverance, throughout training and in still completing the challenge once the Manchester Marathon was cancelled. Having recently graduated as a medic, I asked her how it has been starting as a doctor and we also reflect on her favourite memories from her two years at CULNC.

We have a light-hearted, hilarious discussion about their relationship as sisters, who are both at the same Uni and both playing netball for Cambridge. Ciara is our current Club Captain and has played for the Jays for the past two years, and Fenna joined Cambridge last year, playing for the Blues.
