Ep. 44: Letting Go of the One That Got Away
It’s strange because people often think I have it all together. The reality is that I struggle a lot, especially when it comes to men and love. This is normal, and we are all trying to figure it out. We have so many “Why’s” we want the answer to. The whole pandemic in the Philippines I had my own “whys” to figure out. I was seeking for answers as to why the man I loved did some things to me. Why did this happen? Why did we end up going separate ways, even even if we were so involved in each others lives and everything seemed like it was perfect. I guess life will be always unpredictable - there are lessons to learn to make sure we don’t keep on repeating the mistakes and the patterns, and so that we grow into the person we need to be. Last year was very hard for me, I had to let go of many things including the man I truly loved, but that also led me to where I am today. It’s quite ironic that I am now here just two streets away from him but I can’t see him, as if he was just some stranger. Back when I wanted so badly to be exactly here, there were things that wouldn’t allow me to be. But I guess that is just life, and life has its own ways of teaching us important lessons.

Ep. 43: Navigating Life in Your 30s with Cara Eriguel
I turned 30 this 2021. And I swear, it was a roller coaster of emotions, my life was turned upside down, and I was definitely pushed to the limit as a person and a businesswoman. As if this pandemic wasn’t enough of a challenge, the universe kept throwing more at me to test how strong I am and to see what will make me give up. But you know what? I don’t ever give up. Amidst the pandemic and everything else in between — I managed to get up, pick myself up again, and I moved my life to Madrid to take my Masters at the IE Business School. I didn’t even hesitate to start over in my 30's. My life in my 20's was amazing, I should say even beyond amazing. But where I am right now, I worked extremely hard to get here. See that’s the thing, everything in life is interconnected, what we do in our 20's will reflect in our 30's, what we do in our 30's will give us a glimpse of what to look forward to in our 40's, and the cycle goes on. As I always say, it’s now or never. What we do now matters, so just take that first step and take control over your own life.

Ep. 42: For People Feeling Lost : It’s Normal, and Valid
I’m living my dream in Madrid. But at the same time I’m confused and lost while still happy and fulfilled. Is it normal to feel all these emotions at the same time? I guess yes? All our feelings are valid, the positive and the negative, and it’s crucial to feel these emotions for our growth and progress. There will be days when you think you know what you’re doing, then one day you wake up, and you just ruined a relationship and lost opportunities you worked on so hard on. Is this life trying to teach us something? I guess yes. Why did so much things not work out and how did I end up where I am right now? I don’t have the answers yet, but my journey itself in Spain will tell why I am here and what purpose this will serve in my life.

Ep. 41: Why Higher Education is Empowering
This year I finally decided to take a different path when it comes to education, and how I want to grow more as an individual and an entrepreneur. I took the first step to move to Madrid, to enroll in the # 1 business school in Europe, and to just go with the flow. I am not sure where life will take me from here, but I am learning to live in the present and enjoy what’s right in front of me. On my journey, I lost relationships and opportunities along the way, but I needed to do this for myself and my future. I feel like I have learned many things in the world, but now I have to learn to make decisions based on data and methods for expansion of my businesses back in the Philippines. And most importantly - I want my future self to be proud of me.

Ep. 40: Faith, Resilience and Hope in the Time of a Pandemic with Brother Bo
Nobody was trained to deal with the pandemic, it hit us all so hard in every way possible. When I met Brother Bo in El Nido, I was going through some of the worst days of my life, I didn’t know what was happening to my life and where I wanted to go. Talking to him gave me clarity and made me realize how far I’ve come and why I should keep going. We have all been through so much, but this time, you are not alone and we are all together in this. The pandemic didn’t choose, color, race nor social status — which gives a clear message that in the end, we’re all the same, no matter who we are, and where we are from. So keep going and have faith in your present.

Ep. 39: How Hard Things Built My Confidence
Life is full of rejections and challenges, but the only person who should never give up on you is yourself. The more you push yourself to do hard things and to overcome the failures, the more capable you become of dealing with the storms in life. Nobody will save us, only you can help make the journey a bit easier. You are the captain of your own life, everybody else is just passengers, so make sure this adventure is something worth remembering. Yes, other people will help you along the way, but if you’re not yet fulfilled on your own, it will be always difficult to deal with the different relationships you will have. Your relationship with yourself will determine how you deal with everything else in your life.

Ep. 38: How to Forgive Yourself Gracefully with Alec Cuenca
We make many mistakes in this lifetime, but sometimes we can be so hard on ourselves and we go back again and again to what destroyed us. Life is a continuous journey, and we will fail countless times. In order to live a happy and free life, it’s important that we learn to forgive ourselves, just like how we put in the effort to forgive others. You are your best friend and #1 supporter in everything you do, and the more we practice to be patient with ourselves and to accept our flaws, the easier it is to practice that with other people. I, myself, have been making so many mistakes lately, but now here I am in Spain, learning again. I am so happy to talk about this topic with someone I really look up to.

Ep. 37: Being Strong and Going After Your Dreams with Chinie Go and Maureen Wroblewitz
Dreams are scary, but it’s also the fuel of life to keep going at any age. In a world with endless possibilities, we are free to make anything happen. As long as we put our hearts into our dreams, everything is possible beyond anything you could ever imagine. The life I’ve lived, and living at this very moment, was once just a dream. How? I work on it every single day. The thing is, life has no final destination, it’s a continuous journey. Circumstances, passion, and purpose will always change - and it’s up to us how we use these to progress and to be better versions of ourselves, even when it gets scary and difficult. With pure intentions, willpower, focus, and discipline, everything is attainable.

Ep. 36: How to Fully Love and Accept Yourself with Iza Calzado
We often struggle to accept ourselves because we are constantly changing. Outgrowing hurts, but this is one of the most important parts of the progress in life. Self-acceptance is a continuous process, and the more we understand this makes everything easier in accepting our flaws and to continue enjoying our lives in every stage we step in to. For me, life has always been divided into several stages. When it’s time to leave and upgrade to the next stage, we should be prepared to leave a part of us behind that we won’t be able to bring with us to the next journey. Iza helps us understand that no matter what other people say, it’s our own life and we are in charge of everything.

Ep. 35: Why and How I Moved to Spain
I know it seems easy but this has always been planned and I have saved up for this, I've always wanted to go somewhere to start over just like my parents did 31 years ago when they moved to the Philippines. I am a very open-minded person with a curious mind craving for new adventures and a challenging life. I knew I would never grow in an environment where I spent my entire life, with all that comfort and familiarity. Success for me is always shown in my freedom to grow, to move, and think in a place where I feel I can wander and think about what's next to solve. I've always been about exploring, and the pandemic made me know more about myself when I was forced to live for more than a year in the place I grew up in. This move is for my future self and so I asked myself a question: "Will this benefit me in a year, two, and five?". The answer: a BIG YES!!!

Ep. 34: Is Business Really for Everyone? with Josiah Go
On this episode, I've invited one of my mentors from when I was just starting Access Travel 10 years ago. Often times, being an entrepreneur is glamorized by many people in books, social media, and other platforms by telling everyone that it's easy but is it really for everyone? I personally think that this is also like every other profession, because there are so many learning experiences involved just to make your business work. This is an adventure you must take with so many risks, there will be times that you'll fail and succeed but everything will always prepare you for the next step in life and in business.

Ep. 33: A Decade of Traveling and Entrepreneurship
New season is here because I am progressing and I am no longer the person I was when I started this episode. Now, I am stronger with better stories that I want to share to help you progress with me. Life changes so fast, the only thing we can do is keep adapting and use all the lessons learned for a better future. I am a firm believer of change and how we are always meant to upgrade for us to move to the next level of life. Embracing the next chapter with grace. I am ready and I hope you walk with me through this journey all the way from Madrid.

Ep. 32: My Top 5 Life Lessons
Life has progressed so much since I started my podcast journey last February. As promised, every chapter and lesson will be shared with my community here. Change is the only permanent thing in this life and things get easier when we learn to accept that and let go of our expectations, controlling things that no longer serve us is the main cause of unhappiness for me. I hope my top 5 life lessons will help you get through whatever you are going through right now. Remember, there’s always hope.

Ep. 31: How to Use Criticism for Self-Improvement with Jessy Mendiola
We’re often very affected by the comments of others around us, we like seeking validation for what we wear, how we look like, and why we feel certain feelings. There’s no end line here, the only thing we can do as imperfect human beings is that we accept that we cannot be perfect and will never be capable of everything, this is why we progress with self-love to keep going no matter how hard life gets. Learn to believe in yourself, love every part of you through every stage of life, and trust the process that you’re always doing great and be grateful for the wonderful life given to us even sometimes we all just want to give up. The people around you will never adjust to you, it's your responsibility to protect your peace and well-being. No one will save you but YOU.

Ep. 30: How and Why You Should Invest in Cryptocurrency with Christ Tan
Passive income is something that would help us in difficult terms, especially in the time of a pandemic. 3 months ago I decided to put half of my savings into cryptocurrency and fast forward to today I was able to pay some of my school expenses from the money that I’ve made from the appreciation of the coins. Everything in life is about taking risks, so I just decided to make my money grow here instead of letting it sleep in the bank. I’ve invited Christ from OKex to inspire us on how we can start investing for long-term benefits.

Ep. 28: The Beauty of Unpredictable Life with Joyce Pring
Life is beautiful, painful, mysterious, dangerous and everything you can imagine all compressed in one journey. We normally have timelines in our heads and how we should end up but life has strange ways of showing us what we deserve in the end. I believe that people with pure hearts always win in the end. Believing in ourselves and not losing touch with what matters the most help us live a happy and successful life from within when we just let go and surf the waves of life naturally.

Ep. 27: How I Recharge While Managing Everything Remotely
Before the pandemic, people always ask me how I managed to run my business while traveling the world. I was almost never in the Philippines physically while building my 10-year-old company. In this episode, I have shared some tips on working remotely, using the right multivitamins and supplements, and why we need to accept the fact that we will fail and at some point, we’re all capable of becoming toxic but still learning at the end.

Ep. 26: Challenging Myself: I'm Moving to Spain
Life has been hard for all of us. I’ve been planning this move for 6 years now and I wasn’t ready for higher education before because of other priorities that took over. This time, I am ready to get out of my comfort zone and explore everything else that I have yet to discover. The world is too big to force ourselves to love things that we’ve already outgrown. The beauty of life is that we’re always given the chance to restart and come back stronger than ever. We just need to be brave, shut down the external voices of the society telling us and just focus on what we think will make us happy and satisfied. I don’t know if this will be a permanent move but I am ready, life is too short to postpone all the time so I am giving it my all for my new home in Spain!!! Ep. 21: You Are What You Put In Your Mouth with Kay Sy
Often times, we don’t realize what we eat affects how we are from the outside. In this busy world, we tend to choose the easier path because we are getting used to everything instant but long-term success in any form comes from the small difficult decisions we make every single day. For instance, how much and which sugar we will use for our coffee, to walk or take the car and so on. These simple choices lead to a greater life and a happier version of yourself if we just open our hearts and minds to more mindful and conscious decisions. Reduce your sugar intake, walk every day, sleep early, everything will make sense in the long run.

Ep. 16: What Really is Mental Health with Cat Triviño
Somewhere along the way, I'm sure we've already learned how to navigate through these unpredictable times. But that doesn't mean we won't have days that feel like we're back to zero. For this episode, I've invited Cat Triviño to talk about her experience and the importance of mental health. There are days that we can be too hard on ourselves and I’ve learned that there is power in admitting that you're not absorbing anything at all. That's where maturity and real strength starts, when you decide to stop and rest.

Covid 19 patient 343 Jumed Nicolas tells us the other side of experiencing the virus. Jumed has been my friend since college and this totally shocked me as well. I can't imagine how it feels like when death is literally in front of you. Sometimes we don't get second chances in life, and while we can do and say everything to our loved ones, let's all make it a habit to practice living in the present time. Stay negative wherever you are!

Ep. 12: Turning Uncontrollable Events Into Profit with Lea Yosalina
I invited my pilot friend to discuss the situation of unemployment and how we can turn it into something better. The world as our workplace was completely shut down because of the travel restrictions and this forced us to work inside the four walls of our homes. With this, we managed to survive the pandemic and it led to the creation of meaningful brands. We can be victims but we also have the option to stand up and work with that is in front of us since we have nobody but ourselves. Together, the travel industry will rise. Not instantly, but slowly and surely.

Ep. 11: The Reality and Risks Of Entrepreneurship with Rizza Sebastian
Being an entrepreneur isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. There are those who say they will pursue it, but not all follow through. Just like being an artist, doctor, or teacher, being an entrepreneur takes a lot of hard work and dedication in order to get to where you want to be. The journey of an entrepreneur goes beyond sticking to your decisions. There will be days when people will leave you doubting yourself, so you have to go back to your roots. Remember why you pursued your passion in the first place. It’s about inspiring yourself to find solutions in order to inspire those around you. I invited fellow entrepreneur Rizza to talk about her journey as well, amongst other things. To discuss how much like her, her businesses are also growing and ever evolving.

Ep. 10: To Not Following Society’s Love Standards with Pauleen Luna
Why are we so pressured with falling in love? Why do we let other people define who we need to be with? Would you prefer to focus on yourself first while life is working on it’s own for you? Or would you rather rush and settle with the person who won't even do you good? Waiting is NOT easy but it will definitely shape your future and your perspective in life. Don’t rush at all cost. Great things take A LOT of time, patience and effort but it will be so worth it in the end.

Success is often connected with being rich or famous. A superficial idea that is now instilled in a lot of us that makes us unhappy because we think that we always have to aim for more. Because of that, I decided to invite someone who has the same mindset as me when it comes to defining success. My guest Ayen and I believe that success comes from within and that you should make use of what you have. I started my entrepreneurial life at the age of 14 and started my official business; Access Travel at the age of 19. Doing this so early has opened a whole new world for me. I’m the woman I am today because of the decisions I made in my younger years. It's never going be easy but if you choose to have discipline and ignore how other people are running their lives, you will be ahead of everyone. I invited Callie to talk about why starting a business at an early age changes you and your mindset about the world. I find her so amazing that being the daughter of someone well known didn’t stop her from doing her own thing.
