Falling Into Protection Mode
Welcome to Season 1 Episode 8, Falling Into Protection Mode. Today I am joined by Lakell Maxwell who works with sexual abuse survivors to talk about a much needed topic of conversation, protection mode. Protection Mode is a way of providing yourself with feeling safety in the world that you live in. It can be a source towards healing as well as a source of coping to maintain a level of comfort that can at times not be the healthiest but for the sake of knowing what to expect we allow ourselves to stay comfortable even if not happy.
