It Could Be More Then Baby Blues & When To Seek Help w/ Mama Psychologists - Caitlin & Chelsea

Caitlin and Chelsea from The Mama Psychologists on Instagram sit down with me to talk about Postpartum Anxiety and Depression. How do you know when its more then just Baby blues, and when to seek help! They break down each one, and give us tangible tips to help, as well as where to find more resources in your area. Approximately 70%-80% of women will experience baby blues, however many of them will experience more then that. 10-20% of new mothers will experience postpartum depression, and 1 in 7 new mothers will experience postpartum depression up to a year postpartum. Caitlin and Chelsea are amazing online resources, trying to help mothers everywhere feel less alone, and more empowered. This quick episode provides some valuable knowledge for not only new moms, but seasoned moms as well. Too many women are scared to speak up about postpartum depression/anxiety, and a lot of new moms are unaware that the way they feel isn't normal. We want all postpartum moms to know that if they are feeling this way, they are not alone, and you should seek help! Caitlin and Chelsea will give you advice on where to start looking for help for PPD/PPA, and how to manage it in a way thats best for you.
