Scorer of many great and important goals, we chat about winning the title with both his boyhood club and Glentoran, plus the Setanta Cup final in 2008 and still playing to this day at the tender age of 45.

Willie joined Glentoran at 10 years old, climbing his way through the youth teams and making it into the first team, the first player ever to do so. After cementing his place as first choice centre half, Willie faced a series of bad knee injuries which prematurely brought an end to his football career.


He fulfilled a dream by playing for Glentoran, the highlight of which was winning the 2015 Irish Cup at the Oval.
