Why? Because so much of our self-esteem is co-mingled with the ebb and flow of this particular type of energy.

60. Day 13: Anger, 31 Days to Enhanced Self-Esteem
It happens. Anger is a real thing and we have plenty of opportunities to navigate it.
What does it have to do with our self-esteem?
Plenty. And most of it's not good.
We've been taught the "rights and wrongs" of anger from a very young age. Mostly, we've been taught that the very fact that we Have anger is wrong. Then we've been taught that the way we "do" anger is wrong.
Today we explore everything from our tendency to suppress anger or our natural expression of it to different ways we can align with our nature to experience anger differently. All along the way, we're tapping into our self-esteem through deeper understanding of ourselves and developing mastery over this hot topic

59. Day 12: Rejection, 31 Days to Enhanced Self-Esteem
Rejection sucks.
It doesn't matter if someone is letting you down lightly with an "It's not you....it's me"
or blatantly laughing out loud at the amazing new idea you just proposed to your team at work.
I'll say it again. Rejection sucks.
But it doesn't have to.
Today's series of steps is about looking rejection straight in the eye, sitting steeped in the emotions that arise and using logic to sort the real from the fiction.
I'll be the first to admit, the first 4 steps are pretty heavy. But if you stick with me, we add on two seriously fun steps to bring it all into a feel-good place!

We make mistakes. That's life.
But do we make ourselves wrong for it? Do we hold onto the feelings of guilt, shame, anger for much longer than the initial reaction?
If we do, there are very good reasons we learned to do this. Mainly, these weird patterns we play on repeat come from the time in our life when we were little sponges.
Well, we're not 6 anymore and it's time our mistakes got an upgrade.

New choices create change.
If we repeat these new choices, they become a habit.
Habits become part of who we are and who we are is our contribution to every situation.
We're going to build on yesterday's theme of worthiness and its connection to self-esteem. Our 5-step process today centers around crafting a mantra that will support a change in how we feel about our worth until it hits the habit stage and becomes part of our improved self-esteem.
Here are the steps:
1. Stillness to Find Truth
2. Ask the Question: "Am I worth it?"
3. Listen for your truth to define "IT"
4. Craft your Mantra
5. Use the snot out of it.

Here's where it gets real!
Well, okay, it has been real before, but today we dive in a little deeper.
We're going to engage the mean voice in our head. You know the one. Yep. That one. And we're going to go toe-to-toe with it.

When I do this set of 5 simple steps, I get different results every time. But each time is just as powerful AND it's exactly what I need in the moment!
Here's what we do:
1. Push Yourself Aside.
2. Listen.
3. Have a Conversation
4. Ask a Key Question - "What would happen if we worked together?"
5. Live and Ponder.
That's it!
I think you'll be surprised with the results. I always am! In fact, it's never something I want to do....but it's always so powerful I wonder why I resisted it in the first place. Maybe because it goes to places I don't think I'm ready for...

S3 Ep: 4: Planned Obsolescence – How It’s Killing Our Longevity and What To Do About It
We expect pretty much everything to end up in the dump, including our most valuable asset - our human body.
The key word is "expect". Our expectation that the human form will degrade, start to slip up, break down and fall out could be the reason it ends that way.
And it could be the subconscious reason that we begin new healthy ways of life, only to abandon them days, weeks or months later.

S 3: Ep: 3: The Place Where Problem and Solution Meet
No right. No Wrong. No Good. No bad. Just what is.
My dad used this phrase so often it was burned in my mind long before I actually understood it.
Now, I understand it to be the common theme across lightworkers today, Neutrality.
I used to think that neutrality (and all of the other words associated with it) were passive. Like hiding away from reality. Putting our heads in the sand, only to bring them out when the turmoil stopped. Well, we know that the turmoil will not stop for the foreseeable future. That's too much time to have our heads in the sand, right?
Luckily, I found (as you may have, too) that neutrality is a place of ultimate and absolute power. And we can step into it whenever we want to create our brand of change on the planet.
Today I share my process to embracing the energy of neutrality to truly step into our power. I see it as the place where problem and solution meet.
