Our natural state is love, joy, health and abundance. Anything outside of that shows we are out of alignment. Lifting the Veil discusses how to lift these “veils” that separate us from our true self. It’s not about becoming anyone - it’s undoing who we are not.
In this episode, my naturopath, Dr. Jen Stanley, is back to share why she does a 5 day juice cleanse every November (and why a 5 day cleanse vs 3 or 7 days). She also talks about which items she juices to target the liver and kidneys and what items she juices that help bind to heavy metals. Dr. Jen discusses how she figures out which area to target as this is why her juice cleanse is always different. We also talk about different juicers, how to ease into juicing, why to juice the core of a pineapple and more! Truthfully, it’s allllll spiritual, but there is no “right” or “wrong”. There’s only more or less aligned. Either your more aligned with your soul and your evolution towards your highest expression, or your less aligned with what your soul is nudging you to let go of, embrace or shift into. In this podcast, I share what happened when I had to put my fashion styling business on hold while I figured out why it had come to a complete stop. (I started it back up again once I started Lifting the Veil, because style clients and opportunities starting coming back. And, it really is a true soul love — not a job or career that feels draining or like “I’m supposed to do it because of parental or societal pressures”:) I did struggle to find a balance between stylin’ and Lifting the Veil, but as my angels & guides quickly pointing out, “It’s all style”. You are allowed to do both! Here is the link to check out the e-books I brought up in the podcast. One is on Aligning with Abundance and the other is on Understanding Numerology! https://www.lifting-the-veil.com/my-picks
We are all born intuitive. It is the voice of our soul and as we know, we are souls with a body, not a body with a soul and we didn’t come here to just pay bills and die! However, we are born on to a planet and into a world and culture that does not teach us how to connect with our intuition. While many of these tips or ideas for strengthening your intuition are very simple (journaling, limiting your use of electronics, eating high vibe foods, being in nature), the main goal is the same: creating a space for intuition to be heard. Once that is created - through diet/eating cleaner, meditating, journaling or going for a walk, intuition will start getting louder and easier to recognize. Spirituality is a round table where no one can sit at the head. Ultimately, spirituality is re-remembering that all the love, joy, health and abundance are inside of us as we keep learning (or really, unlearning), to get back to our true selves. In this podcast, I also discuss is spirituality yoga & green drinks and can you be spiritual and drive a fancy car? (And yes! You *can* drive a Ferrari and be spiritual as all lack in our lives is spiritual bankruptcy because we are souls with a body not a body with a soul. The spiritual journey helps us re-align with allllll that abundance, joy, freedom, ease, beauty, health, pleasure, grace and more). Receiving can be difficult because it means we need to be open - to trust because we don’t get to pick the who, when, where and how something is going to come through. However, giving is usually much easier for people. Why? Because giving implies a sense of control (which most people like!), as we get to pick the who, when, where and how something is going to come through. Giving is masculine energy and what our world promotes, encourages and celebrates. While receiving is feminine energy and can be harder to do. This podcast discusses how to lift the veils around receiving and feeling bad, guilty or unproductive when taking time to rest, sit back and receive! Yes, even during this time, the Universe still only ever trades up! Yes, things can still be confusing or overwhelming, but the good news is, there is a new, more harmonious, beautiful, joyful Earth emerging (and this is still happening *for* us - not to us). Also, the universal principles still apply such as the fact that we are always being supported, that we can still manifest, that abundance still exist (just being delivered through different channels - perhaps channels we haven’t thought of, pursued or tried before:), and that we can always ask for help from our angels & guides. In this episode, I share tips for staying grounded and centered and I help explain why this is an exciting time to be here on this planet for we are the architects of the New Earth! My naturopath, Dr. Jen Stanley, is back to share what she’s learned about COVID19. She shares which foods “dock” or attach to a cell so COVID19 can’t “dock” or attach (think garlic, shallots (specifically shallots!), onion, sprouts, leeks, bok choy, green tea and kale). She also discussed the 4 essential oils that kill air born viruses (to put in a diffuser or on a towel to diffuse while taking a shower), and other helpful tips. We also discuss low HCL (stomach acid), which naturally declines after 40, yet is essential to killing off bacteria (an overgrown of “bad bacteria” can burn and lead to heartburn or GERD) and more. Follow up post with the HCL with pepsin Dr. Jen uses, the nettles tea she likes, the purple cabbage with capers & avocado recipe and other resources will be on Lifting-the-Veil.com next week!
Whether you’re getting your chakras balanced, cords cut or having your palm read, it’s helpful to know that energy can be read when it’s already *been* released or *about* to be released — this is why a lot of “future” things may not come up in a reading. This episode gives some tips on finding the healer or reader that is best for you and what guidance can be gleaned from a palmist, past life reading, astrologer, Numerology reading, cord cutting session and more!
Did you know we have this amazing tool within us that’s free, portable, legal and can help boost our immunity *and* lead to greater relaxation, happiness, joy and restful sleep..?! Yes - it’s laughing! Laughter Yoga requires no yoga pants, no mat and surprisingly, no jokes. Just as babies don’t need a reason to laugh, neither do we — just a reminder that it feels good, it gets toxins moving, it opens up blood vessels and, of course, is our natural state. Ellen Klein of OptimisticallyYou.com joins me as we discuss the benefits of Laughter Yoga and how it got started (by a medical doctor in India). Come laugh with us as Ellen and I demonstrate (and lead) a full Laughter Yoga session!
So, which one came first? Spirituality or health? Unfortunately, like most things, we put spirituality aside — we save it for when we have time for it, but in order to get to the ROOT, we need to address what is in the emotional & mental arena first. Then, the physical body follows. In this episode, I share how my mom’s cataract went away, how my gluten allergy disappeared (but only after I had shifted things in my mind first:), and how Archangel Gabriel came through when I needed to regulate my menstrual cycle *before* I ever starting taking anything in the physical! Sound out there? If you know we are souls with a body, not a body with a soul, then it will inspire and help! The episode ends with a brief introduction to The 5 Pillars of Health (yes, it’s not just diet and exercise!).
Ah! Letting go! Did anyone ever teach us this?! Of course it’s much harder to do when we don’t have a strong intuition (faith in the unseen), but it’s not impossible! In this episode I explain why letting go is extremely powerful (and necessary:), visualizations for letting go, and why letting go is the fast track to bringing you everything you desire.
My naturopath, Jennifer Stanley, is back for another fabulous episode with natural ways to feel better in the winter. We discuss what to do for a sore throat, a running/stuffy nose, chest congestion, and the amazing power of garlic (hint: think UTI and yeast infection as well). We also discuss why herbal medicine works, ionic foot baths, Dr. Jen’s recipe for the immunity tonic she takes before indulging in wine or desserts at a party (only 5 ingredients - all common grocery store items!), and why liquid supplements are best (tablet form is her least favorite because those are heated to 400 degrees to retain their shape). Listen, share and let us know what remedies & ailments you would like us to address next!
Being positive is wonderful! Effective! Amazing, but the missing piece I didn’t integrate was never shifting, letting go or embracing a new, more aligned belief. Never taking any action steps - specifically in the mental arena, meant that things never changed in my life... and before I knew it, I was broke! In this episode I share examples of rising above gossip & complaining and how I decided to become the most positive person on the planet. Of course there is also a gentle, yet big reminder of how important “action steps” are — they are a key part to manifesting that often gets overlooked!
Ray Vlcek joins me for a special episode about healing with sound. More targeted than singing bowls & gongs, Ray muscles tests your body to identify which emotion is ready to be released (frustration, guilt - mine was “repression” and feeling more freedom and lightness in my life:). He also muscle tests to find out where your body would like the speakers placed (at your shoulders, chest, hips, knees, feet), and the length of time (usually 60-90 minutes depending on how “deep seated” the emotion is!). The amazing thing about this therapy is its lasting results — when I reach for that emotion, I can’t find it. It doesn’t bring me to tears! But the best news — this healing modality can be done remotely. What a wonderful thing to discover that can greatly move the needle on our healing journey!
This is a wonderful follow up episode with my naturopath, Dr. Jen Stanley. We address what happens in a colon hydrotherapy session, what you feel during a “fill” and “release”, what kind of water is used, and the difference between a closed & open system. We also discuss the foods that have the most soluble fiber (a healthy colon needs 3 things - fiber, water & exercise!), why castor oil is used (and other amazing benefits of this oil like pulling radiation out of the breast tissue after a radiation treatment), and more!
The Universe is not being unfair, mean or picking on you — it’s trying to get you to move forward with a new belief, drop a bad habit or perhaps let go of a friendship that isn’t serving you anymore. But the good news is, the Universe only trades up! Yes - every time! And it won’t give up on you until you realize what it’s nudging you to do. In this episode I share stories, examples & tips to re-remember that everything is happening for us not *to* us.
A must listen to episode for alllll things health as there is a reason Hippocrates said, “All disease begins in the gut.” My naturopath, Jen Stanley, clearly explains the link between the colon and our health (and how she didn’t need glasses anymore after a very powerful colon hydrotherapy session!). The body *can* heal itself and this episode will wow and inspire you in so many ways! Cleaning out the gut is how the Egyptians survived the plagues and is now linked in a new documentary with the ROOT cause of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer dis-ease. Both Dr. Jen and I share how this was the best and biggest thing we ever did for our overall immunity and health (even after eating 100% raw!). “The gut must be cleansed before any disease can be reversed.”
“Let it be easy” can be difficult to RE-remember. In this episode I share examples on how “let it be easy” has unfolded in my life and how shifting this belief can stop you from pushing and forcing your way through life.
Synchronicities are a sign you are on the right path - you’re getting warmer! Keep going! Synchronicities signal that that person, place or thing is a part of your journey to realign with your natural, true self which is love, joy, health and abundance.
Oh those limiting beliefs! They can be around anything — realizing how smart and funny we are to issues with worthiness. This episode discusses exactly how to remove a limiting belief and some suggestions for how to instill a new, more aligned belief.
I wanted to make a quick episode with some of the most common “truths” such as “you are good at what you do because you’ve honed it over many past lives”, “we did not just come here to pay bills and die”, and “the next step is right underneath your nose, just waiting for you to consciously recognize it” and more!
Who knew we could ask for help with everything from opening a heavy door to stopping spam emails to halting the negative voice in our head?! This episode discusses how easy it is to ask for help and how it shows up.
My spirit animal is the spider (who would have thought?!), but the spider has awesome energy for us to embody. This is the crazy story of how the spider kept showing up, the messages they have for us, and how you can find your spirit animal.
This episode of Lifting the Veil discusses how intuition uses feathers, coins, and even song lyrics that get stuck in our heads to guide us. It also includes a brief introduction to Numerology as repeating numbers are a common way to receive messages.
Veils, or limiting beliefs, are all around us, but the good news is they are veils - not, big opaque curtains. This episode discusses how to identify and lift them so you can align with your naturally abundant, joyous and healthy self.
Our natural state is love, joy, health & abundance. Anything outside of that shows we are out of alignment. Intuition is our guide (because we are souls with a body not a body with a soul), and we didn’t come here to just pay bills and die. This episode discusses how intuition comes through, how to start listening to it, and the difference between intuition and ego.
