We are a representative body for the Greek Australian youth community, discussing with various guests topics ranging from culture, identity, history, sports, and everything in between.

We aim to be a platform whereby the Greek and Greek Australian youth have their voices heard, the topics they are passionate about discussed all the while uniting the diaspora with the patrida, our homeland.

Καλώς ήρθατε σε ένα ακόμη Τα Λέμε επεισόδιο που σας παρουσιάζει η Εθνική Ένωση Ελληνοαυστραλών Φοιτητών! Στο δεύτερο και τελευταίο κομμάτι με θέμα τα Ρεμπέτικα, συζητάμε ακόμη μια φορά με την Ελισάβετ Σταυρινού για τους πιο εικονικούς Ρεμπέτες στην ιστορία. Μιλάμε για τον Μάρκο Βαμβακάρη, την Μαρίκα Νίνου και την Σωτηρία Μπέλλου και αναλύουμε την ζωή του Βασίλη Τσιτσάνη. Καλώς ήρθατε σε ένα ακόμη Τα Λέμε επεισόδιο που σας παρουσιάζει η Εθνική Ένωση Ελληνοαυστραλών Φοιτητών! Στο σημερινό επεισόδιο, η Βανέσσα Μπάλτου έχει καλεσμένους την Ελισάβετ Σταυρινού και την Σταυρούλα Μαγδαλινού όπου συζητάνε για την νοοτροπία ενός νεο αφηχθέντα Έλληνα στην Αυστραλία σε σύγκριση ενός Ελληνοαυστραλου, και σε αυτή την περίπτωση ενός ανθρώπου που έχει γεννηθεί και μεγαλώσει στην Ελλάδα και ενός που έχει γεννηθεί στην Αυστραλία αλλά προέρχεται από ελληνικό σπιτικό. In this week’s episode, our host Denise is joined by special guest Dimosthenis Manasis, Director/Instructor at School of Greek Dance and Culture, the largest Greek dance school in Australia and arguably even the Greek diaspora. In Part One of our conversation, we discuss Greek dance and its implications for culture and multiculturalism in Australia, specifically its role in keeping cultural identity alive. In doing so, Dimosthenis reveals the journey from where his dance school began, particularly through his father Alkis’ influence, and we discuss the evolution and changing nature of Greek dance.
