Welcome to Point of Departure by Old Soul Archaeology. My name is Michele Jennae. 

As I transition from audio only podcasts to audio and video (also sharing to YouTube) I show up with a digital background as I record in Zoom. I look like Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars if I move to much, but it lends itself to the topic of The Energy of Showing Up.

Showing up is difficult and so most of us do it with masks on. Invisible masks, yes. Personas that we adopt to protect ourselves from the spitballs and darts of judgment. If we really stop and think about it, we are doing our SELF more damage by ultimately denying what we ache so badly to have acknowledged. We must acknowledge first. This is the energy we must bring to showing up.

In this first episode of the year, I am excited to present Marlene Elizabeth of MONEYWINGS™. Money is always a timely topic, but after a tough year for many because of the Covid pandemic and other economic uncertainties, this episode seems timelier than ever.

In this episode we Dig Deep into why financial issues rarely have only to do with dollars and cents. More than nuts and bolts, Marlene addresses the deeper aspects of our relationship with money, finances, wealth, and more.

In this episode, I close out the year 2020 by talking about the energy of time, and how, even as I just did by referring to the year, we can limit the energy of time in our lives. When we cut and dice into days, weeks, months, and years, we miss opportunities. We can fail to see other larger and smaller cycles at work.

I talk about how my year went, speaking in this annual container of time, but I also talk about Expanded Time or the Expanded Now, which is a period of time since a particular past event until the present that is defining your life in some way. Much food for thought here in a short episode.

In this episode we meander into the darkness. I talk about how we are taught to perceive darkness and what that does to our psyche, which resides in darkness. Feminine power (yin) is associated with darkness and it's time we embraced it for all that it brings to us.
Instead of fearing the dark, and women, and witches, and our own inner wisdom, it is time to re-enter it. The darkness is powerful, and so is this episode!
