How persistent pain has increased over the past 25yrs, in the UK. We need to change
How persistent pain has increased over the past 25yrs, in the UK. 1990’s - 7.8million people 2010/12 14million people 2016 - 28million + 500k people stuck on opioids When will the penny drop with those in making decisions (Med Schools, Commissioners, Healthcare Professionals etc) Pain Mgt as we know it now, has to be revised/updated. Outdated ways, such as just providing meds, treatments are unhelpful and creates passivity and also keeps people stuck in the passenger seat. So who is going to change? Let me know...
