We Need Self Control
EP23: Self-Control is the difference-maker in life. Many confuse self-control with self-discipline. Although they are very similar, there are some distinct differences. Paul talks a lot about self-control in the New Testament. We will discuss this more in this episode. May God bless you and yours! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need Commitment
EP22: Commitment is the difference-maker in life. We all have seen people who say they are committed, but who show something different. Commitment really does separate people. Are you a really committed athlete or coach? Are you really a committed follower of Christ? We will discuss this more in this episode. May God bless you and yours! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need Courage
EP21: Courage is not the absence of fear. It's the ability to find strength in the face of it! We will discuss this and more in today's episode. God bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need Action
Take action. What you know can impact who you are. Both can impact what you do! We will discuss this and more in today's episode. God bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need identity
Who am I? Who are you? These questions force people to wrestle with identity. Who you are is not what you do. These things are different. We will discuss this in today's episode. God bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need Knowledge
To be an elite athlete or coach, you must have extensive knowledge of the game. But knowledge in itself is simply not enough. We will discuss this and learn to apply it to our spiritual journey in this episode. God Bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need Endurance
To run a race, you must develop endurance. The same principle applies to the race we call life. We will discuss this and more in today's episode. God bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need Self Discipline
What time do you wake up in the morning to work out, read the word and pray? Some you do not, while others may. Regardless of the activity, self-discipline is a key ingredient that helps athletes and coaches become great. We will discuss this and more in today's episode. God bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need Resilience
Resilience is something we all need to develop. If you have not, take heart because it is something that can be learned. It does, however, take time and practice. It is important to bounce back and recover from difficult circumstances. Go to God as he will give you strength. We will discuss this in today's episode. God bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need God
My heart was very heavy when I recorded this episode. It has nothing to do with athletics, but everything to do with the need to know God and make God known. If this episode speaks to your heart, please pass it along and share it with others. Go bless you and yours!
We Need Change
Changes! Change can be a good thing. Some people fear it while others embrace it. As athletes and coaches, we must continually evaluate if a change is needed. More important than that is the recognition of a change in our personal lives away from the court. Ask God for wisdom as you think about change in your life. We will discuss this in today's episode. God bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim
We Need Direction
What direction are you going? Where are you headed in life? Coaches and athletes need direction as they are in the off-season. Knowing your direction will guide your day-to-day activities. The question to ponder is this: who is your guide? We will discuss this in today's episode. God bless! #kingdomteamtraining #trainwithpurpose #purposeabovetherim

Constructive Criticism for Teammates
Recently, NBA superstar Anthony Davis called out a teammate for missing a defensive assignment during a practice. His constructive criticism was well received by one of the games all time greats, Lebron James. The article we read brought about the topic on constructive criticism amongst teams and holding teammates accountable. Coach Reggie presents different elements for athletes, coaches and parents to hear that will help them grow and understand this important topic.
