You heard that right, stretching is dead. You won’t often hear a Physical Therapist make such a bold statement, but I feel passionately about this. Here is what happens weekly when people find out that I’m a “Physical Therapist”.
- They sit up straight to have “Perfect Posture”
- They tell me they need to “Stretch More”
I then laugh because I have no clue what stretching means.
Stretching is DEAD
I use different language and make sure every person I work with has intent with every exercise we to not waste time.
