Looking back at last week as a system before the start of the new week has some surprising value. In this episode we explore this through my share about last week, how I see value in it, then how I will do it differently for the coming week.
I will be taking you on my journey of reflection. A 14 day reset as we move together into 2021. Exploring internal reflections, as we examine a different question with each day. Today is why a 14 day reflection and reset journey needs to happen.

An update for you all. It has been a good long month and a half since I’ve posted. I’m trying to figure things out. Just want you to understand where my heads is at right now creatively. Where I hope to go and where I need to go. Thanks for listening!
Super excited to have a guest back again. Booker is back after my first 1-2-20 4 months ago with a lot of new advice and learns about creativity to share. We talk a lot about his experiences with innovation with local eateries and craft breweries. But, mostly this is about how creativity and innovation thanks to COVID-19 is something altogether different. It’s made us more creative then ever, because we have to be. Very inspirational and I hope you enjoy this episode. Some links to check out after the show: https://youtu.be/IEcuJ8BPhv8 on his work with local craft breweries and for DIY ideas the porch rebuild is here https://youtu.be/gqFQQzof_To If you’d like to keep some tabs, and I suggest you do, with Booker here’s his channel link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIEvVAROAk-jOqL0nIaHosw
We’re learning in our current climate of forced isolation with ourselves or with others how much we actually have in common. Being open and listening to learn versus respond we can build something new. There won’t be a normal to go back to when this climate changes back, because we’ll be groups of people that have learned through a struggle. This is how I’ve learned to make the best of it!
With each setback, reflect on what you have learned and simply begin again. We need to find a balance between our negative and positive thoughts. Resilience is the ability to adapt. It has never been more important than now.

1 guest, 2 questions, 20 minutes. I get to interview one of my favorite creators Booker on how he broke into vlogging, overcomes creative paralysis, and what his favorite YouTube posting to date is. You can sub-up with Booker here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIEvVAROAk-jOqL0nIaHosw or follow him on Twitter here: @Booker_Rezo! It was amazing to have him guest on the show! I learned some great incite creatively as I’m sure you will too. Enjoy!
In this episode I share systems, tools, best practices, and my learns from researching the best of what was out there last year. To many times we take the last 30 seconds before midnight, pick a random resolution we thought up, and then expect it to just work. Truth is, it takes planning. It’s not to late to still set a great path to winning your resolutions this year!
Building a discipline in how we deal with interruptions in our day, be that they are good or bad, can make a huge difference. Create the breakthrough you want. It’s all a choice. We just need practice to remind us why.
In this world of distraction our bodies and minds are getting beat on from every direction. How can recuperation even get a chance? We’er so tired. I explore the challenge one of our listeners gave me on this very subject. Enjoy!
October’s podcast is a getting you up to speed of sorts. The main topics of the Dip and the Wolf we feed are great learns from this past week that I wanted to share. How to achieve and be more resilience in our journey to be our best selves.
A little bit catching up, highlights of IBtP for August, a card from Holstee, and the main topic. We are at war with things that want our most valuable resource, our mind. This is about the art of creating space.
It is about the art of focus in getting the right things, at the right times, for the right reasons. Our minds are constantly battling to stay focused. Attention management is the new productivity tool to find mastery in. Just practicing time management isn’t enough.
It’s hard to receive feedback. Especially when that feedback feels personal and very hard to hear. Having some simple strategies at ready can make a big difference in how you receive it and learn from it to grow.
I explore some questions that struck me as profound during last week’s research for the cast and IBtP. Helps to take a moment to capture something that knocks you off center, write it down before you forget how it made you feel, and then come back to explore it later. I take you through my filters and my perspective on 4 questions I wrote down last week.
What Character Are You? Another Holstee draw. This time I picked a question to explore that aligns with creativity as the theme. Ended up being a perfect card to talk through with Avengers: Endgame out this past weekend.
A dip into Holstee Reflection Cards, reflecting habits, and intention. There is some perspective and a certain amount of intentional curiosity you need before striking off into the unknown on something new you want to master. These questions and some self reflection time can make sure the start is right.
We can go our entire lives with out ever finding it. Some have it and don't even realize it. When you do find your truth and honor it, it can be applied to anything you do creating an incredibly empowering energy.
I spent all last week learning for you about some of the best techniques around that can help us declutter what's in our heads. Like our physical spaces we can apply Marie Konodo's theory to our mental spaces too.
We need someone that can help us see the bigger picture and bring diversity of thought to our work/goals. Coaches do more than push us, give us device, and cheer us on. They can connect us to others that can be just what we need to go further.
First episode I wanted to share the vision overall for this next platform for me. How this meets a very specific purpose as a podcast being my choice to reach a broader audience. Lastly, share how this is aligned to the main goal I've always had with a little share from a resent blog I wrote. Hope you like it!
