Promoting safe and hygienic menstrual health | Pad2GO w/ Jesselina Rana & Shubhangi Rana

Promoting safe and hygienic menstrual health | Pad2GO w/ Jesselina Rana & Shubhangi Rana

Co-founders Shubhangi Rana and Jesselina Rana started Pad2Go in October 2018, after having understood the grim reality and obstacles that menstruating people have to face across Nepal. As a result of their own share of experiences while growing up in a society where menstruating girls were treated differently and looked down upon, they strongly believe that no future generation should be adversely affected as a result of archaic perceptions around menstruation.

Today, Pad2Go has set up over 110 vending machines for sanitary napkins in four of Nepal's seven provinces. They have vending machines in schools, hospitals, movie theaters, banks and offices.

In this episode, the co-founders of Pad2GO share with us their experiences, the how and why, their struggles, and their journey to being listed in the 30 Under 30 - Asia - Social Entrepreneurs 2020,

College project turned Business - Hrithik Shrestha | EPIC BAGS

Hithik Shrestha is the founder and CEO of Epic Bags Nepal, a local startup that manufactures and sells its own line of backpacks with materials available in the country. Hrithik and his friends started Epic Bags as a college project, to which they saw potential and then decided to continue it as an independent brand itself.

With its high-quality product and affordable price range, they have had a very positive response from the general public within their first 2 months. With more emerging Nepalese brands emerging in the country, their challenges include competing with the already local popular brands like Mheecha and Hemp Bags Nepal.

Here, Mr. Hrithik shares with us the epic stories and journey of Epic Bags so far, his experiences, and their approach to captivate the Nepalese market with their own strategies.

Once again, great ideas can come from anywhere.

How User Reviews can Power Startups w/ Uttam Adhikari

Startups like Sroth Code Games deal with digital products, apps and games and users can leave reviews and ratings per their experiences.
Many leave fantastic and really helpful reviews along with some suggestions, while the some leave very brutal, rude and senseless comments that are very discouraging to any product developers.
The following podcast is a small discussion regarding the same topic. Hope to spread a positive message to everyone.
