Promoting safe and hygienic menstrual health | Pad2GO w/ Jesselina Rana & Shubhangi Rana
Co-founders Shubhangi Rana and Jesselina Rana started Pad2Go in October 2018, after having understood the grim reality and obstacles that menstruating people have to face across Nepal. As a result of their own share of experiences while growing up in a society where menstruating girls were treated differently and looked down upon, they strongly believe that no future generation should be adversely affected as a result of archaic perceptions around menstruation. Today, Pad2Go has set up over 110 vending machines for sanitary napkins in four of Nepal's seven provinces. They have vending machines in schools, hospitals, movie theaters, banks and offices.  In this episode, the co-founders of Pad2GO share with us their experiences, the how and why, their struggles, and their journey to being listed in the 30 Under 30 - Asia - Social Entrepreneurs 2020,  Visit Pad2Go: https://www.pad2gonepal.com// ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Connect with Pad2Go: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pad2go.np/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pad2go_nepal/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Startup Podcasts Nepal is a series of discussions with many startups both blooming or struggling their way in Nepal.
