09: Shadow Work + The Search for Connection and Belonging with Stephanie Hunter (she/her)
Stephanie Hunter (she/her) is a shadow work facilitator and transformational mentor, leading programs with family therapist Georgianna Lee of Rising Woman, as well as Conscious Relationship Trainings, with transpersonal therapist Phil T. Mistlberger, both online and IRL (Vancouver, Canada). She has a gift of translating woo-woo into practical terms, for bringing humour into hard work, and for Radical Acceptance — of herself, of you, of whatever’s arising right now. This sets a secure (and fun!) foundation for shadow work and self-discovery.
In this episode we dive into what shadow work is, explore ways we are all in search of connection and belonging and how sometimes that surfaces some juicy gooey bits for us to look at, projection, spiritual bypassing, and the real, honest truth that we don't have to "fix" anything about us but that the work lies in accepting all of our parts.

In this episode I bring you yoga teacher, space holder, and brilliant human Julia Mccabe (she/her). Julia shares a little snippet of her story entering yoga and her travels growing and studying as a teacher and lifelong student. We get into what pranayama is and some of its benefits on the mind, body, and soul. Julia artfully shares how she blends esoteric teachings with practical neuroscience and body anatomy, utilizing her extensive knowledge in body anatomy through a B.Ed Kinesiology, so that we can really understand our bodies from the inside out and begin to tap into deep spaces of compassion through yoga, but also our breath practice.

02: Healthy Anger, Self-love + The Complexities of Feeling Feelings with RCC Sarah Jeffrey (she/her)
Sarah Jeffrey (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in Squamish, BC who works primarily with growth-oriented humans in the realm of radical self-acceptance, confidence and connection to core values. She starts by sharing her story and path to becoming a RCC, including her work as a wilderness therapist. We then transition into feeling feelings and (a few) of the reasons why that can be easier said than done. She outlines some steps and offers practical progression around developing a relationship with our feelings. We dive in to healthy anger, inner child work, building nervous system capacity, and she offers some resources for those unable to access counselling services but who want to start exploring these topics with more depth on their own.

01: Expressive Arts as a Method for Deep Healing with Carly Whitaker-Wilson (she/her)
Carly (she/her) is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with a Masters degree in Expressive Arts Therapy. In this episode we explore topics around embodiment, intuition and how expressive arts is an incredible tool for healing past traumas and moving through challenges in a way that is gentle and supportive of the nervous system. Carly shares her journey into expressive arts and how arts have impacted her through her life and contributed to her deep connection to her intuitive knowing, her sense of self and embodied self-worth.
