Today marks about 2 months of no alcohol (about 2 months longer than i've ever gone). It's an update on my first "sober date", learning to lean into discomfort that was usually eased with alcohol, and trying not to worry too much about how people might label me. After almost 2 full months, I am truly living a completely different life.
Drinking alcohol is so normalized in our society, that if we even think about quitting we get labeled (or label ourselves) with a problem. I'm empowering you to question whether you want alcohol in your life, not whether you need alcohol in your life. It is YOUR life. Make it as fulfilling, as rich, as beautiful, and present, and as conscious as you possibly can.
