Episode 197 - Down the Rabbit Hole of UAPs/UFOs

With the recent buzz over the release of some videos of various sensor data of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, the new term for UFO, I decided to explore "What if...." and apply it to the realm of RPGs.

Episode 189 - Preparations to Leave Haven

The party decided to deal with the threat to the gnome thief illusionist, and wait for one of the magic users to get his intellect restored before heading towards Cliffcrest.

I also present the world premiere of the new theme song for my blog, by TJ Drennon of Occult Orifice Outrage. Be sure to check out his Patreon.

Here are the lyrics:

Knows how to wield a sword,
Spells arcane and divine
Upon his shield's a wolf
And if you have the time
He's got a mean sales pitch
He even makes it rhyme
And if you need a job
This is his go to line:
Some people wanna die poor,
I can't imagine why,
They say 'once you've bought the farm, There's nothing left to buy.'
But if you want to die rich,
gold coins upon both eyes
Then raise up you long sword,
Follow me, and die.
Yeah, raise up your longsword, follow me, and die.

Episode 185 - My Campaign - Did They finally Reach The Sand Vikings?

I go over the last session in my Sunday AD&D game prior to returning to the GM's seat tomorrow.

Obviously, I survived the surgery.

Now that the existential dread has lifted, my ability to think and create is unleashed.

As part of that, I started a new blog, Men's Health In My Perspective. If you really want the nitty gritty on how I'm doing, or you're a man interested in knowing more about the process, check it out. All men should have a PSA test as part of the blood work for their annual physicals.

The blog is two days behind, so you'll have to wait a couple days to read about my today.

If you want more current updates, I have a new Twitter and Facebook page.

Episode 180 - The Rest of The Ettins

In my Sunday AD&D game, the party takes on the rest of the ettins they found in episode 178.

I mentioned the Quantum Ogre click the link to read about it. Basically, blocking player agency or railroading to get the outcome the GM wants.

Episode 179 - Space Battle In Stars Without Number

In last night's session of the Stars Without Number campaign, A Plague of Angels, we had more of the combat that started the session before. I got to roll for shots by allied & friendly NPC ships VS. enemy ships and I rolled a ridiculous amount of 18, 19, & 20, plus decent damage.

Obsidian Portal  (free option) - I played around with it a few years ago.

Epic Words  (FREE OPTION) this is other mentioned by Campaign wiki

Campaign Logger  ($40 and I think there is a very limited free option) -

World Anvil  (free option) - Very sophisticated, lots of templates for creating different pieces of a campaign world. Good for building a world for storytelling via RPGs or writing a novel.

Today on Episode 72, I talk about the time my character Griswald, the namesake of FMAD lost his mind.
